Summer Shadow

Birth of Butterfly 

I made these tiny displays for my office decoration. The concept is to use paper as the main material. So I created die-cut pictures, most of them are from my favorite European paintings from Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo period. 

Also, I liked to see how the shadow plays. So I used different types of backgrounds to let the shadows have a lot of variations. One of my favorite backgrounds is the golden-foil paper. Very beautiful shadow, looks like it has some candlelight effect!
